  • Lightbulb Students must understand that the mean absolute deviation describes the dispersion or spread of data. Students should be able to find the mean from a given set of data. Students will need to find the average of a set of numbers then subtract each number from that mean and average the absolute value of those numbers.

  • The table shows the number of contacts six people each have stored in their cell phone.
