T.I.P.S.

  • Lightbulb The student must be able to use measuring tools that reinforce continuous length from start to end to measure the length of objects. Students must be able to explain their thinking.

Example

  • Measure the width of a desk with a strip of adding machine tape or strips of newspaper. Use pictures and words to explain how you measured the desk.
